Blacknight Shortlisted for Four Social Media Awards
Ireland’s leading domain registrar and hosting company lauded for exceptional use of social media
Blacknight are pleased to announce that they have once again swept the Social Media Awards (Sockies) shortlist. The 2014 Sockies celebrate Blacknight with nominations in four categories as they honour the best of Irish social media.
The 2014 Social Media Awards will be held in Dublin on June 5, 2014 at the Board Gais Energy Theatre. The awards celebrate companies and businesses that exhibit a unique approach to their online identities. 500 attendees are expected, making the 2014 "Sockies" the largest year yet.
Blacknight have taken home at least one Sockie every year since the show’s inception in 2010. “We're delighted to have made it to the finals of the 2014 Social Media Awards and it is an honour to be recognized for something that we absolutely love to do,” explains Blacknight CEO Michele Neylon. “It can be difficult to connect with your customers when running an Internet business, so we make it a priority to be as active as we possibly can on social media.
