Best Website category currently open for nominations
Nominations for the 2015 Net Visionary Awards are open and Blacknight is sponsoring the award for Best Website- Joyous to Look At and Splendid to Use.
Now in its 17th year, the Net Visionary Awards are organised by the IIA (Irish Internet Association) and honour the best of Ireland’s online community. The ceremony will be held October 9, 2015 at the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin.
This Best Website Award will recognise the importance of the design aesthetic married with user experience and functionality. The award will go to the agency or freelance designer whose client website illustrates excellence in graphic design, navigability, accessibility and usability.
Blacknight CEO Michele Neylon, the 2013 recipient of the Overall Net Visionary Award states: “Blacknight loves the Net Visionary Awards and are proud to be a sponsor in the ceremony’s 17th year. Blacknight, which has been a sponsor of the awards over the years has also been honoured with several Net Visionary Awards.
Blacknight are big supporters of the IIA who show their commitment to Irish technology by organising the community’s biggest night out of the year. In addition to the award for Best Website, the Net Visionary Awards also honour categories such as Best Use of Technology for Social Good, Best Social Media Campaign and Best in Universal Design Award.

The nominations, which are currently open, will close on July 28, 2015. Tickets to the Net Visionary Awards dinner and ceremony are €220 for non-members, €180 for members and those who are shortlisted. The ceremony will be followed by the now legendary Net Visionary after-party.
